Accelerator Spring

Hello,
I'm trying to figure out where exactly the carburetor end of my accelerator return spring attaches. Obviously the other end attaches to the return spring bracket. My motor is a 1967 L79 (327-350 HP).

At the extension of the accelerator rod that goes thru the bushing that's bent at 90 degrees.
