C2 396 Correct Oil Pressure for PV Testing???

Since there has been a lot of talk lately about correct oil pressure for the high performance small block Corvette engines, I thought I'd ask what should be correct for a 1965 Covette with a 396/425 engine? I'd like to know what it should be at start up, at hot idle and at 2000 RPM. We are plannig to put the engine back together with the Melling brand standard pressure/volume pump for that engine.

I'd like to get some comments regarding what pressures I should be looking for to be correct for the PV testing. We plan to break this engine in on an engine dyno before it goes in the car.

Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

    Regards,

There is a normal hot oil pressure specification in the AMA specs.
