C3 High Mileage Corvettes

I'm curious what you would define as high-mileage for a C3 Corvette. As well, what would you consider low-mileage for the typical C3.

Tom,
You haven`t mentioned the model year. Long range from `68 to `82. Also certain specialties like `78 pace cars or `82 collector`s editions are certainly regarded differently when it comes to mileage. Many of these were put away for years with plenty of examples under 1k miles.

Tom,

Out here in California, where most of us can drive our 'vettes all year round, I see the typical '68 thru '72 years with mileage in the seventy thousand range quite often.

I have one '71 with 39K another '71 with 60K. Any '68 thru '72 year with less than 50K would be considered quite low mileage out west.

Are you talking odometer mileage or fuel mileage Tom?

My 70 has 321,000 miles. I'd consider it a high mileage car. lol. But most everything has been rebuilt on it.

My original owner 70 has about 160K on it. 68 orignal owner has about 98K.

So high mileage Corvettes are 100,000 plus unless its a Pace Car. From my study I would say 50k is high mileage for a Pace Car
