    Exhaust Flex Tubing "-3

Where can I find (buy) 3" exhaust flex tubing (say 30ft) to use in my shop to vent exhaust outside? I need 3" so that it will also fit not only my C2, but my C6 Corvette.

You can get it from McMaster-Carr (www.mcmastercarr.com). It's called flexible ducting. However, you'll find it's not cheap. For 3" X 30' I'd say you'd be talking about over $100 for the cheapest stuff they have. For stainless, over $200.

          If you're really

going to have a 30' length, please install an extractor fan at the far end of the tube. CO poisoning is not funny.

Years ago when I did the first-fire on my tube-frame Grand Sport replica in the dead of winter, I went to Home Depot and bought lengths of 4" aluminum dryer flex pipe to clamp on the 4" open sidepipes and ran them out under the garage door. As I recall, they weren't very expensive at the time. Neighbors loved it.
