    56 wire question

    Hello to all,

I am now in the process of reassembling my 56 and I thought I had everything covered but I can not remember nor can I find which place the red 14 guage wire that comes out of the loom by the fuse block goes to. Does it attach to the bottom lug that powers the heater/radio/E brake light or does it go to the top where the pink stop light wire attaches? It looks like both areas need power as they do not ohm out as being connected Also where does the black with white tracer ground wire by the firewall attach in the engine bay?
    Thanks for any assistance,
    Steve

I believe the red wire will go to the top left spade on the fuse block. The only black wire I see on mine goes from the lug in the firewall where the ground strap from the throttle lever attaches to the wiper motor base

        Rob and Paul,

Thanks for your answers. Do we know where the accessories get their power from? The top lug does not power the bottom fuse bar as far as I can tell.
