69 small guage bezel

What is the part # for the small guage bezel for a 69? I believe it fits 69-71. I have an unbroken bezel with 6491171-69 cast in the part is this correct? Thanks

The numbers cast on the bezel are not the same as the part number for the finished bezel. If you post a picture of the bezel, myself or someone else might be able to ID it for you.

Joe, I don't think I can post a picture. Can you try to explain the differances between the 69- 71 and the 72-76.

It has to do primarily with the configuration of the upper left portion of the bezel. The 69-71 has a square opening for the seat belt warning light and, below that, a square seat for the seat belt light extinguish push button.

The 72-76 has a single rectangular opening on the left side which has a single rectangular lens which reads "fasten seat belts"; no pushbutton was used.

The 1968-only bezel is like 1969-71 EXCEPT that it has a smooth finish rather than the "grained" finish used for 69-71.
