i have super glued dry roasted peanuts to the soda bottle to use in damp areas like the basement where the peanut butter will turn rancid. i never tried the bacon because we leave the camp closed for 6 months a year. sounds like a waste of a good slice of bacon.

Reminds me of the Seinfeld eposode where he couldn't get the smell from the valet driver out of his car, and he finally left it in a bad neighborhood with the keys in it so that it would be stolen. Except the thief didn't like the smell when he got in the car.

Just be sure the cat doesn't relieve itself on the car. Few smells are harder to remove than cat urine, or so I am told.
