Rear Compartment Light 72

72 rear compartment light. The one in the very rear, rectangular shaped.
How do you remove the cover to replace the bulb? I know it's a weak question,
but I have three thumbs, if you know what I mean. Big John

It has been awhile since I have removed the rectangular cover on my 1970. I "think" I gently pressed down at the top center and then gently pulled it off. The "think" the cover has a small tab on the cover at the top center that retains it and two tabs on the bottom to retain it.

Jim, thanks for the tip.I'll dive in there this weekend and see what happens.
I wonder if there is any other source for no light that I should be looking at.
All the other interior lights work fine. Thanks Big John

My 70 is as Jim describes and I have seen all the wiring in my car, I would say the bulb. Auto zone and trhe likes should have them in 2 packs.
