CV-736C PCV valve

In the E-Bay picture in an older thread that valve appears to have four dots or punch marks on the bottom. I noticed on some that I have their are nine punch marks. Is one service and the other assembly line used?

All PRODUCTION and earlier SERVICE CV-736C had the "4 indentions". Later SERVICE had 8 or more indentions. There are also other minor differences in early CV-736C and later examples. For one thing, the stamped-in script is different. For another thing, the letter seen on the bottom of the internal valve (seen through the bottom hole on the valve shell) may be different.
