    Hi guys

    How the date works on 68 - 69 jack ???

    example: G 8

      The date code on the jack is supposed to be a number for the year followed by a letter for the month. 8C, would be March 1968.

          Not always is the year first

          My Aug 68 and Feb 69 jacks were opposite - one was month first, the other was year first - sorry, can't remember which was which, just struck me as odd at the time. In addition, the Oct 68 had a different base than the later jack. I also have an "8M" jack.
