    63 Gauge needle replacement

I am in the process of changing out the speedometer and tachometer faces in my 63 IC. My current IC has 64 gauges and I have found both 63 smooth cone faces to replace them with. My biggest concern is removing and replacing the needles. If there anyone with experience that could give me some tips it would be greatly appreciated.

    Re: 63 Gauge needle replacement

My only experience was on my 70. I replaced the speedometer with a new one from GM in 1975 because the odometer quit working. To change the face plates, the new one had white markings, not 1970 color, just twisted the needle counter clock wise and it came right off. To install, just lined it up and gently pushed it on. Hope this works for yours the same.
