The Delco replacements available for the last several years do not have the word "Delco" stamped anywhere on them. The only reference to Delco is on the shock label. You probably removed the labels and painted the shocks gray. Shorn of their labels, there's no way to really ID these as a Delco product.
The numbers you did find stamped are codes for the actual manufacturer of the shocks. I believe these are manufactured by Monroe (Federal Mogul) or, possibly, Gabriel (Arvin-Meritor). I don't have any reference to these numbers at the moment, but they do look like the sort of numbers that I;ve seen on these Delco shocks of the last 6 or 7 years.
I suppose one could leave the "Delco" labels on the shocks and then get "dinged" for color. However, it would establish that they were "Delco" replacement shocks. In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top
