    55 top material

    I know there were tops made of canvas and vinyl, but how do you know which one to order?

      Depends on the color, and probably when the car was built. I have the advantage there, I still have the original top, which is green canvas, S/N 1518. It does need replacing, but I would have to settle for green Haartz canvas, which is black on the inside, as I cannot find a supplier who can do it with OE material. I did find a source about 8 years ago, but I was preoccupied with medical issues for so long that source can no longer provide it.

          Noland Adams restoration guide talks about the tops and the colors. What color is your vette. This may dictate.
