wich brand is the best way to go
i used VHT in the past and is good but are there beter products ???

I ues the same VHT but I cover it with a clear coat .
It looks great and last longer than pure VHT

I have used the VHT in the past with decent durability. With my most recent 1965 L75 rebuild I sampled about six different Chevy Oranges trying to match color. As you are probably well aware there is a huge difference from manufacturer to manufacturer. So....durability is one thing while color is another. As I recall the VHT is pretty close but definately toward the red side. I compared all the brands to a original water pump with was mothballed since its early death in 68 or so. I wound up going with Paragons pricey Chevy orange. It has a bit more orange than the VHT.

I used the Dupli-Color paint. This paint does appear to be a bit 'orangey' ..
