even if its a vette part, highly modified, don't think it'd fit on a c-1 body. how about a 58-60 T-bird parade boot? mike

If it is, it has been highly modified, latches, bracing...

someone made a rear deck pannel out of a 56/ 57 hood. the top glass portion is the back half of the 57 hood. the bottom part is the rear deck lid support that has been modified. the answer; it will fit a 56 or 57 corvette but not very well.

The bracing on the bottom does not look like my 57 deck lid bracing.
The hinge mounts are two bolt, not three.
The latches do not come near anything on a 57 Corvette to latch to.
The bullets on top are longer and come to a sharper point than a 57 hood.
The front edges of a 57 hood curve back, not forward.

It has been cut down from something but I don't think it originally came from a 56 or 57 Corvette.

I hope someone can identify it.
