1108430 was used on corvettes from 1970-1975 with turbo hydra-matic transmission and a 350.

Mark, In addition to Lyle's response, this particular starter is dated April 25, 1972.

As Lyle mentioned, the 1108430 was used on Corvettes from 1970 to 1974 with small block and THM-400. HOWEVER, keep in mind that just because that's the number on the starter frame, that doesn't mean that's how the starter is currently configured. If the starter has been through a commercial rebuilding operation, the numbers on the frame mean ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.

This, particular, starter was originally configured with an aluminum nose USING TWO LONG STARTER BOLTS. If it has that nose, the chances are it's still as originally configured for that part number.

Thanks all. It is currently set up for a BB 4-speed. Going through my old parts and wanted to get rid of it.
