I'm doing a body off on my 65 convertible and want to put the numbers back on the right side frame rail. The NCRS manual says #3871317 and the date the frame was pulled from inventory. How do I know the proper date? Thanks, Jeff

Jeff. I just went through this myself with my '65, and I'm happy to email you a photo of my passenger side frame rail.
The part number is rolled on through the stencil with white paint--not sprayed on.
The pull date is written with an orange paint stick. You would be safe to use either the date before or the date of your car's build date. I used the day before just to be safe.
