2009 z06?

hello everyone,

i am looking to buy a new corvette around this time next year, so that would be the 2009 model year. all the advance word for the 09 vette is all about the "SS, blue devil" or whatever they are calling it, with its 600hp. obviously they will be producing a "base" vette too but i was wondering if anyone has heard about a z06 model for '09? will the "SS/blue devil" essentially replace the z06 or will there be 3 models? (base, z06, bluedevil).
the "ss/blue devil" is out of my price range but i would like to buy a z06 (2009). i looked all over the internet but couldnt come up with anything. thanks.

Word has it that the Z06 will be available for 2009 -- no word yet at what horsepower level.

BTW: The "SS" or "blue devil" is to be called the ZR1. The more things change....

Roy is right there are lots of rumors on these subjects over at the Corvette Forum in the C6 section.
