C2 '67 wiper arm removal

Could someone say how to remove the '67 wiper arms? I hesitate to apply extra 'Bubba' when there might be a trick to removing them from what I believe is a pressure fit to the short, black 'drive' arm.

I use a wiper removal tool available at Long Island Corvette...works like a charm...it has a right-engled tab at the end of a handle and when positioned along the wiper arm, lifts the endcap and the entire arm then lifts off....

wiper arm removal tool also available at local NAPA-type stores as well as Snap-on or MAC tool trucks. mike

The tool looks like this - about five bucks; made by Lisle, K-D, and others.
