This, particular, version was published only once in August, 1973 and essentially constitutes the first "volume". Subsequently, they were published approximately annually in, effectively, various "volumes". Within a "volume" they were cumulative.

I surmise from what Joe L. has said that these separate catalogs came about due to the sheer volume of the parts history data as the years advanced (47 pages of history in Oct '62 grew to 239 pages by July 1969).

In this timeframe, the history sheets were located at the back of the Body P&A30 for the 2-volume (Chassis and Body) catalogs, and the back of the Big Bertha catalogs (Groups 0.000 thru 17.000). The cover sheet describes ".... information relating to parts that have been removed from service or replaced for the current and last two years". The number of years covered was 4 years for the July '69 version, which is the last P&A30 that I have in my library.

Frankly, I would prefer to have this info in the format that I described above. I would be suspicious that the 1965 to 1973 stand-alone version may not contain the total history, where 2 or more number changes to the same physical part occured over that timeframe.

As for the price asked, you could probably purchase all the body or Bertha volumes, at least to 1969, at less $$$ than this auction will bring.
