C1 Carpet Cut Outs for Seat Tracks

This question is for an early '59 with the Daytona Weave carpet. I believe that the carpet goes on TOP of the seat brackets/bolts. Is this correct? If so, does anyone have a photo of how the carpet is cut for these areas? What is the easiest way to make these cuts so they end up in the correct location?
    Thanks

I don't have a photo but the installation of the carpet is fairly self-explanatory. My carpet came from Al Knoch and I didn't have to trim anything.
The only part of the seat runner bracketry that the carpet has to cover is the OUTERMOST HALF of the front OUTSIDE bracket. (if you assume there are 4 ea U-shaped brackets per seat, front and rear, with 2 screws through each bracket - 8 screws total) The rest of the brackets are in fact uncovered by the carpet. They are out of view, under the seat and seat frame, so they don't HAVE to be covered. My '59 has been Topflighted and has achieved Bloomington Gold and no one has said anything negative yet!

Let me know if this is unclear and I will take a photo.

Just installed Al Knoch carpet in my '58 ... no cutting required.

Carpeting by someone other than Al Knoch may require cutting. I bought mine from ACC. ACC doesn't sell it with pre-made cuts. I'm going to have to make them. (I haven't installed it yet.)
