Re: Corvette Classifieds
It's a cool site... but just like most other sites (not all) it doesn't provide a way to narrow down your inquiry to a particular state or area. I appreciate the work that goes into these sites, but I, for one, will not consider buying parts/cars that I can't do a "touchy feely" with prior to a sale.... I need to limit my searches to the local market. It's not a major request to ask for a search parameter limiting a search to, say, state and/or zipcode. We've gotten past the "punched card" era, now if we could only search by state and zipcode. Buying "long distance" is certainly common. But a simple purchase can get real nasty, real fast, without in-person examination of the goods. Please please please (if web designers are listening) give us better search criteria. It ain't rocket science....and...
This point is even more important when it comes to NCRS related items. Remember the story about the "matching numbers" engine block with epoxy numbers grafted onto the side? I rest my case.- Top

Re: Corvette Classifieds
Check out the Auto Trader web site at:
http://www.traderonline.com
Note: My experience is that the best way to search is using the general auto category, not the classic auto category. All autos go into the general auto category. Nice search engine, it lets you search by state or region, by year, make, model, and keywords (like ZR-1). Enjoy.
