The "AB" identifies it as a 3.70:1 Corvette positraction differential used from 1971 to 1975. It was manufactured at the Warren Gear and Axle plant on the 229th day of one of those years and on the first shift. The actual year of manufacture can be determined by checking the casting date on the carrier case.In Appreciation of John Hinckley -
