            Lyle is correct. This carb would be suitable for cars built shortly after Feb 6th '71 up to (conceivably) very early 72 model year since the same part number was used for both years.

            NCRS Flight Judging rules consider components such as carbs built up to six months before the trim tag date to be typical of factory production.

              No problem.

              Same number distributor for both 71 and 72 model year base engines, but as his post said 71, I didn't want him to think he had the wrong part.

              At least you were half right.
              But, I'd say the "odds" of a February 71 distributor on an early 72 car aren't that high.

              We missed you at Carlisle this year.
