C2:67 Clutch Kits

Who makes the best clutch kits for a 67 base engine, 4 speed with a 3:08 rear. It has been 15 years on mine and it is showing a little wear.

Want to go back to strictly OEM. Would it be an 11 inch or 10.5 inch clutch?
Saw something in the archives about needing a longer adjustment rod in the linkage with some kits, and problems with the throw-out bearing fit. All of my clutch linkage is original to the car.

I've had good luck with the LuK "RepSet" diaphragm clutches; most auto parts stores either stock them or can get them, or try www.dialaclutch.com . You need a 10.5" clutch and a 1-1/4"-long throwout bearing.

jerry,is there a clutch masters in the valley close to you ? maybe modesto ? i've used their units in stock and race applications,they have good tech reps as well---good luck,phil.

I put a Centerforce in my 66 L79 and drove with it for 8 years or so. Never a problem and it worked as advertised.
