    65 Hardtop Assy.

    I have the 65 AIM and other drawings of the assy. of the midyear hardtop. What I need to know is on the rear bottom weatherstrip. Should I simply try to punch holes through this weatherstrip for the molding retainer screws? I will notch weatherstrip for the lower center bracket. This is the bracket for the bottom center window bracket. The AIM only shows the notching for the bracket but Not for all the other retainer screw holes. Can I assume they were punched or drilled out? Thanks DG

      The original rear weatherstrip from my early 66 hardtop had the holes punched.
