58-60 and 61-62, front bumpers, The same??

I had asked this question when everyone was at carlisle and recieved no answers. I have 2 sets of front bumpers, 1 set is 58-60 and the other is 61-62. They seem to be the same, except where the center grille bar ataches. One set the ataching plate is in about 1 inch, the other is in about 2 inches. I believe this has to do with the grille bar differences. I want to get a set rechromed for my 60 and do not want to install the wrong set.

I did some research on cars I saw at carlisle and I could not find any consistency of usage, I believe most people are not seeing the difference. Please help me corectly identify thease.

Bill,

The 1961-62 bumpers are not the same as the 1958-60. The 1961-62 front bumpers have recessed inboard grille bar mounting studs that are more recessed than the 1958-60.

Thank you Rich. I am sure that now I can identify what I need. Problem now is I have 2 lefts for a 61-62, and I need a 58-60. I guess I am looking again.
