    Harmonic Balancer #'s

I was working on my 1974 / L48 this afternoon and started to wire wheel 30 some years of paint & rust off of the balancer and noticed two sets of stamped numbers on the pulley face: "2221 H" and "237 73" Is the one a part# and the second a julian build date? Any help would be appreciated, I'm trying to Doc. everything possable.THANKS....Marty

Yes, the "2221" is a derivative of the balancer part number, GM #6272221. I don't know what the "H" refers to. It might represent the manufacturer's ID mark. I feel quite certain that the "237 73" is a julian date, representing the 237th day of 1973.
