Weird after market items intrigue me like this (Parkit) device from the 50's. Works like a compass you put on your dash in a straight forward direction of the car then as you turn the car the arrow shows your angle backing up to aid in parking . Yes I have and use many little 50's car items on my 55 vett and realize some people here get upset with me posting them . Not NCRS sanctioned but I'm one of those odd-ball guys out!!

Roy, you may be an odd-ball guy...like many of us )...but, you're not OUT!
Hey, my wife could use one of those!...I've never seen one of those; I wonder why it never caught on?
We were out shopping for a new car, and noticed that some cars now have a "parking assist" option that uses ultrasonic waves to tell you how close you are to an obstacle in the rear. We were trying to decide which options to get and which to skip, and she sez, "I don't need that." I sez, "Oh yeah, for $375, you need that option. I'm tired of you running over things because you didn't back far enough out of your parking place before turning your wheels".- Top
