    Correct finish on 64 hubcaps?

The hubcaps that I have for my 64 are original and have a shiny non painted surface. In all of the period ads and literature that seems to be correct, but I have seen some pics where they were painted with a gray matte finish. which is correct? thanks

    Re: Both!

Two designs were available in 64 just to keep us off guard.

Early cars to approx VIN 7700 got the polished finish and later cars there after got the painted ones.
