Hi John
Just a up date on the old water pump and carb.

Sent the water pump to Bill Mock . Some info from him.
#3782609 is correct for 340/360/327hp With build dates through December 1962
The # 3782609 is NOT DATED. But has the same small bypass hole on top.

Still need to do my home work on the pump.Round screws and hex screws.

But the photo is of the carb with the Copper tag.
Not bad for a garage find!!

Denny, Glad you are making some progress. Let me clarify a statement I made about the dated 609 pumps. No they are NOT dated on the outside of the pump. But a lot of times they are dated on the inside. Course you can't see this until you have the metal plate off and the pump is spotless. But forget about this. Don Baker is the one who told me the info. I have no first hand knowledge about this-just heresay. Take care, John
