Where is the correct location for the placement of the jacking instruction sheet on a 1964? The original jack compartment cover with this car had the instruction sheet placed over the passenger side compartment, opposite of what is shown in the 64 Corvette assembly manual. Also would the top of the instruction sheet be positioned close to the top of the "long continous side" of the jack cover, rather than positioned at the top of the opposite side that has the hump cut-out?

Re: 1964 Jacking Instruction Sheet Location
See Noland Adams page 103 and copy that page as proof as to position of stickers.
Now that said my Mar64 had sitckers on the passenger side, large on bottom small on top (same as Adams picture). I do have a picture of my original board showing location of stickers that are long gone.
Repro's now are in their place, had no trouble with judging since the cover and carpet are original.
Do not believe GM had a spec on the position and even if they did I'm sure they got put almost any place after lunch.- Top

Agree...
"Do not believe GM had a spec on the position"
I've seen too many factory original jack boards with St. Louis applied 'baggage stickers' covering either fully or partially the original JP Stevens label that I no longer deduct points when doing interior judging for a 'missing' Stevens label...
The stickers were applied by hand and like any other human factors influenced item, there is no truly 'correct' position for most labels.- Top
