1974 BB Sway Bar?

We just removed a friend's rear trainling arms on his '74 454 coupe.

Were big blocks equipped with rear sway bars in 1974, there seems to be no evidence of one. I know they were used on the 427 cars in '68 & '69'.

Also, the car may have the F-41 (Gymkana) suspension, it has a non original 7 leaf spring.

All Corvettes also equipped with big block engines for the entire 1965 to 1974 period were originally equipped with a rear stabilizer bar.

Were the trailing arms different than non sway bar equipped cars?

The trailing arms as received at St. Louis were the same for all cars; St. Louis drilled two holes at the top rear of the trailing arm on big-block cars for the bolts that attached the rear stabilizer bar link anchor bracket.
