1974 Trans Code

My 74 has a Turbo 400 in it with a tag reading: "74 CK 13081" I think this has too many numbers to be original. I know that "74" is correct and "CK" matches my L48 but the build date has way too many numbers?

I think you're reading the wrong box. Look toward the top of the tag in the box centered. You should see something like 74S 372 where 74 is the year, "S" the application and 372 the date code (Julian)...or the 372nd day of 1974.

See if that works for you. the other is the serial number.

Hi Tom, but then you have to minus 365 days from 372 which become 7 - January 07/74.
