from Wadsworth, Ohio? I found his name written in grease pencil on the backside of my speedometer bezel and was wondering if he was possibly know by anyone. Not sure if maybe he did work on the car or was a previous owner ('58 290 FI). I know the car spent most of its life in the Michigan area, so this may just lead to something. Thanks in advance. Steve

Re: Anyone know Don Earnest...
Steve: I once found a name on the back of a radio (That name still on my 1963 Conv. radio.)
I looked on www.yahoo.com for people with that last name, and ended up finding the son of a past owner. Unfortunately, his dad was not the orig. owner of the car, but I learned another "link in the chain".
The name I found was unusual, so there were not too many people in the USA to contact. Good luck and have fun with the contacts you make.
On yahoo.com, look for "extra services" on the left, then pick "People search".

Thanks Tom...
I have since used a white pages search and found 2 other Earnests in Wadsworth, one older, one younger, so they may be a brother and son/nephew? I'm going to contact them and see where it leads. Thanks for the advice.
