my understanding is that only 2 different dimesion rear end yokes were used. The small one was a 1310 series (1.062 diameter X 3.25 spread), the 1330 or larger one was the same diamter but 3.625 spread. thee half shafts use the even larger 1350 caps that are 1.1875 X 3.625. Any chance of a rear end flange being 3.670?

Jeff----
Only 2 different size u-joints (and, consequently, pinion yoke saddle diameters) were used for 1953-79 Corvettes. All 1953-67 and 68-70 with manual transmission used the 1310 series u-joint (old 1280 series). All 1968-70 with M-40 trans and most 71-79 used the 1330 series u-joint. The 1310 series u-joint has a finger diameter of 3.218". The 1330 series u-joint has a finger diameter of 3.625". If you are asking if any were 3.670", my answer is none that I know of, Corvettes or otherwise. In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top
