Remove tight '65 PB Master Cylinder Caps

    Hello,

I bought a break fluid tester in order to check the condition of the break fluid. The caps of my '65 Corvette (PB) are very tight. Since I don't know how much applied force they can sustain I'd like to ask for a trick how to remove them ... before breaking them. Thanks in advance.

    Regards
    Oliver

    Oliver,

Try rocking the car to get the brake fluid up into the threads a bit...it makes a good lubricant to help get the caps off. Or..try some pure silicone lubricant spray around the outside edges of the caps
