On the steering colume, should the turn signal cancel ring be curved, as shown on pic, or should it be flat ?

Here is a 2nd pic.
My problem is, that the turn signal will not reset all the time.
The roller is worn, will be replaced. But I was wondering, if the signal ring may be bent, or is it suppose to be like this ?
Are the replacement signal rings, available at CC, of good quality ?

I tried to find the pictures I took of my 63 column when I rebuilt it a couple of years ago. I don't have them on my computer at work. By memory I believe the canceling cam should be flat. I replaced mine, I got the replacement parts at Long Island Corvette. The canceling cam was an accurate replacement fit and function. I also got an upper bearing from them and was not pleased with it. It looked nothing like the original one. Long Island Corvette told me it was a functional replacement. The biggest problem with it is the brown wire lead. The original one had a green wire. I found an NOS part on ebay.

I agree with the upper replacement bearing not being of good quality. I bought it from Paragon, brown wire also. My original one was black (??). What I didn't like is the narrow contact area for the horn contact, original was much wider. I will call them to check, if the cancel ring is suppose to be flat, before I order it.
