Has a nice grease fitting that fits the steering gear. Remove the top bolt install the adapter with a zerk fitting. Remove the center bolt to let the excess greese excape. If you don't do this the bottom seal will be blown out and then the fun will begin.
The grese fitting adapter is not to be confused with the bolt with a zerk fitting in it as sold by Paragon. This part has a thin section that weakens the bolt and it can break off in you gear box.
The one Volunteer sells has a nice nurel section that makes it easy to thread into the box by hand. The other reason to by the one Volunteer sells is that its less expensive.- Top

I just talked to Volunteer Vette and they only handle 63-82 parts. Claim they don't have a fitting for a C1. Could you maybe have gotten the fitting from someone else or do you have a C2?

Re: Seering Box Oil-Larry Linder!
The GM ball screw steering boxes have changed little in many yars. I can use the adapter on a my 41 Cad and all non intergal power steering boxes.
Just tell them it for a 63 -67 and they will be happy. You will get your fitting and enjoy the easy maintence.
