Ken Edmunds of Florida passed away today from a heart attack. I first met Ken in 1981 at the Cypress Gardens meet and believe he was a member from the late 70s. Since that first meeting Ken and I have met at each Florida meet for the last 26 years. In between meets Ken and I would either meet in S. Florida or converse via the phone. He was a wealth of information not only to me but to many others on this board and through out the Corvette community. God speed Ken I'll miss you.

Re: Long time member passed away
Damn; just when I was getting him interested in Solid Axles, too.
I met Kenny right about the same time, during the Vintage Vettes (early 80s for me) heydays.
Last year Kenny finally found an old Vintage Vettes membership card and presented it to me. That was an honor.

Hope you're lighting up the tires with Jim & Jeff right now.

Re: Long time member passed away
This news really saddens me. I too first met Kenny at the Cypress Gardens meets in the early 1980's. Since we were both into '67's at the time, I put him onto a nice '67 BB here in West Palm Beach. I enjoyed seeing and talking with him at the January show every year since. He was a good guy and I'll miss him. Jim Weeks - Member #2978- Top

Kenny Edmunds will be sorely missed here for his long time friendship and smiling face. Hope he is riding around heaven with the top down. So long Ken, we'll see you later.
