    Steering Dampner installed on a 365HP 1964

I believe that power steering was not optional on the 1964 365 HP cars. What about the steering dampner? My car was originally a low HP setup complete with steering dampner. I have gone with a 365 HP pan. Will there be an interference problem?

    Thanks Vince

    DAMPER ,not dampner!

It's DAMPER, not dampner! Dampers damp and provide damping, not dampening, dampning or any other bastardization of the term.

The L-76/84 had a larger (longer deep section) oil pan that precluded installation the manual steering damper or power steering hydraulic cylinder.

Thank you Professor Duke for the spelling lesson (damper), and your answer to my question.
