C1 62 Black Seatbelts in Red Interior????

The seatbelts in my 62 project car with red interior, are black. There is no 4 panel webbing, but a course webbing with no discernable panels. It appears the belts are original. What's left of the buckles and hambones appear original, rusted out but original.


Is this possible??

Yours look like seat belts I've seen in 56 & 57 models. I think they were a dealer add-on item. You need webbing as shown at this link.
