    63 SWC carpet

Getting ready for the interior and just inspected the carpet set , which I bought 2 years ago on Ebay "GM NOS"
Was suppose to be for 63 coupe.
The heel pad on the new carpet is much larger, than the old. See pic.
What year used the larger pad ?
Will I take a big hit, if I use it ? I kind of like the larger pad, from a practical stand point...
I am also installing Dynamat insulation, so I am prepared to loose some points, but will a larger pad add much to the deduction ?
I suppose, I could have the pad removed and a correct sized one sewn on.

Rainer, it looks like the picture(s) you're trying to post are in FULL original, max, resolution format of your camera... For internet sharing purposes this doesn't work well because the JPEG files are HUGE and take forever to download!

What folks do is either re-scale their camera for lower resolution pictures OR post-edit the picture using some form software to crop and alter the original high resolution shot before putting it up on the web server. Different software packages allow you different editing means, but the advice eBay gives is basically sound: try to manipulate the picture so its total file size is around 60 KB.

You get there by adjusting X-Y physical size, resolution (pixels/inch), and saturation.... You might get more response if folks don't grow a beard waiting for your picture to download and fill their computer screens...

        Jack,thanks for the advise.
I did not realize the problem until you pointed it out.
When I viewed the pic at work, it came up in 45 sec. (we have rather slow Dells, but DSL)
I posted pic's using Imageshack before and it didn't take that long before. So, I must have changed the settings on the camera. Will look into it...
How do you get to show the pictures at the same time the posting comes up, with a camera logo in the subject line ?

Thanks for the fix, it displays in about 3 seconds now.

Yup, wrong heel pad for a 63, too big. Looks just like my wrong one. I'm still looking for a fix also and I hate to buy new carpets.

Looks to be the asme as late 65-67 version, about twice as large as the orignal. ACC used to supply the smaller version, you might check.
