Re: enclosed car trailers
Depends on:
1. How often you are going to use it (fuel savings? consideration)
2. Your tow vehicle capability (tail wagging the dog; 7500# load and a 5000#
SUV)
3. Do you plan to periodically haul anything else thats larger than a Corvette.
4. Will you ever need to bring home a "non-runner". (Happens when least
expected....)
5. Will you need extra room for "incidentals"
6. Loaded total weight capability of the trailer
I prefer a 24ft, 5000# axles, with a winch, pulled by a 3/4 ton diesel. It pretty much covers the above concerns for the average hobbiest.....- Top

Re: enclosed car trailers
I bought a 20' Haulmark a few years ago in White. It's called a round top. It steaked like crazy from the aluminum top anytime it got wet. After a year of fighting it, I bought an 18' Haulmark Race Trailer in Black with a flat top. The difference was night and day. No streaking at all. It's an 18 footer which worked better for me. I do recommend a steet side door. If you're close to Kentucky, check out Blue Grass Trailer Sales just south of Louisville. Great prices.- Top
