I haven't heard this and I SINCERELY hope it isn't so. I can't imagine CCS would have or could come by the resources.

I haven't heard anything about this either; just placed an order with them on Monday, hope it doesn't get screwed up. This is NOT a plug for CC, but in their website, there is a very interesting story about how the owner, Jerry Cohn accidently got started in this business. Patrick

Maybe this purchase is good news for me if true. I've been waiting more than TWO MONTHS for about thirty items that have been "back ordered" from CC! I have to pay freight on parts piece by piece and my discount is in array because of the fragmentation of parts actually shipped. A small inventory may be cost efficient BUT the loss of customer satisfaction, disgust, and loss of future business dosen't make sense to me. The other parts houses seem to have their act together.

I just sold some stuff to Jerry in April at a swap meet. I would think to sell a business like that would take a while to come to terms. (Months of negotiations etc.). If he were selling, I wonder why he would still be buying used Corvette stuff?

Amen, bro! I may be getting squirrely in my old age, but my last three consecutive C-Central orders went through without a hitch, were shipped promptly, and not a single item was flagged with a backorder status!!!!
