What's the best way to store my bias ply tires while on the rims. Should I deflate them or leave them inflated. I prefer the radials for drivers and put the bias plys tires with KH rims on the car for judging - while the bias ply tires are off the car for an extended period time should I leave them aired up ?

Re: Flat tires
I'd leave them inflated and do nothing special in terms of storage/handling. You're not dealing with factory original rubber (I'm presuming your bias ply tires are reproductions vs. non-DOT originals). They should last quite well stored out of direct sunlight and without the weight of the car on them, I wouldn't expect 'flat' spots to develop from sitting under load in one position....- Top

Re: Flat tires
I don't think it makes much difference, but storing them inflated makes them easier to stack or keep in a horizontal tire rack without damaging the wheels since inflated tires are good "wheel protectors". After several years pressure drops to about 10-15 psi, so remember to check and inflate to proper pressure before you install.
I have extra mounted tire sets for all my cars and have been storing them in an overhead tire rack that I built in my garage about 15 years ago. (It frees up floor space.) The oldest set (my last cherished set of Phoenix Stahlflex 3011s for the Cosworth Vega) is about 25 years old now and shows no age deterioration. The last time they were on the car was about three years ago.
