My master cyclinder has the casting number 2225032 on the bottom and next to it is a logo I can not make out and then R1. The cover has the markings described but the tech manual does not mention a logo or R1. Is it a rebuild mark and if so is it NCRS acceptable?

The 1965-66 master cylinders were manufactured by Bendix, not Delco-Moraine. The casting number that you mention is correct for a 65 or 66 with manual brakes. The other marks that you mention are most probably casting marks or casting symbols. Most casting usually have other markings besides just a single casting number. In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top
