C2 Parking Brake Pully Bracket

After looking through the 1966 judging manual, either I'm blind, or the info is not in there, maybe both. Anyway, I'm trying to figure out what the original finish is on my parking brake pully bracket. The one that mounts to the firewall. After some light cleaning of my original one it doesn't look like there was any paint on it. Either my soap and water rubbed it off or it was originally a natural finish. Can anyone shed some light on what the original finish should be for this bracket? Thanks.

I couldn't find it in the JM either. I could see the bolt and nut that attaches the pulley used to be cad/zinc plated and restored as such.

Thanks for checking Rob. It sure looks natural to me as I clean it further.I still have a ways to go though to be sure as I am being real gentle so as not to remove any paint if there was any. Thanks again for the response.
