    C1 (1962) Amp Gauge Wiring

    Hi Guys,

I am looking for the correct way to wire my C1 (1962) amp gauge. Mine currently has red wires (loads) on BOTH amp gauge posts. According to the wiring diagram, the right post should only have the black battery charging wire that goes to the solenoid battery post, and the left amp guage post should get the red generator supply wire and all the red load wires. Any comments or a photo would be appreciated.

    Ed -

The corrected diagram shows the black feed wire on the left terminal (toward the driver's door), and all the loads are on the right terminal (toward the passenger's door). For correct indication, the feed must be all by itself on one terminal and the loads all by themselves on the other terminal.

      John,

That confirms my thoughts on the wiring. Thanks...Ed
