    1960 Instrument Lights

My Instrument Lights are not functioning on my 1960, where should I begin to look for the problem?
    Thanks!

The reostat on the headlight switch would be first.

Check the fuse to metal clip contact in the fuse box. Not knowing the condition of your fuse box, start with a good inspection of your metal clips for the interior light & brake lights in the fuse box. I have had trouble before where the fuse was good but the contact surfaces were pitted not allowing electrical flow.

If they work only when the headlight switch knob is turned all the way left then the rheostat is open circuited. If they don't work in any position it is likely the fuse.
